Collaboration with the Paralympic Committee

About Us

The Israeli Paralympic Committee operates under the International Paralympic Charter, which was granted to the Israeli Association of Sports for Disabled Persons in 1989.

The Committee brings together organizations representing disabled individuals, athletes from the Paralympic teams, as well as public and sports representatives.
The Israeli Paralympic Committee is responsible for preparing and sending Israeli delegations to the Paralympic Games. It supports athletes in the national teams and receives professional support from the High-Level Sports Unit.

The Committee also manages a fund for promoting sports for disabled persons, grants performance scholarships to athletes on the main team based on success criteria, and offers professional support to promising athletes and the reserve team.
